Skin Care Policies
Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment to fill out our Skin Care questionnaire. We also ask that you book your appointment as early as possible to ensure your preferred appointment time. You may book appointments in person, online, or by calling Lindsay at (562) 292-0735. Leave a message with your first and last name, and your call will be returned as soon as possible. Please notify Lindsay before reserving your treatments if you are pregnant, or have high blood pressure, special physical concerns, or diabetes. All guests will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire upon check-in, designed with your well being in mind.
Payment & Gratuity:
Lindsay accepts cash, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, or gift certificates as payment. Lindsay does NOT accept SpaFinder as payment. A fee of $35.00 will be charged for all returned checks. Gratuity is not included in the service price, but it is greatly appreciated.
Gift Certificates are available for treatment services, or for specific dollar amounts only. They are not valid for product purchases. Gift certificates MUST be present at the time of the service to be redeemed. Gift certificates are not redeemable if lost or stolen.
Apointment cancellations are to be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled time. For appointments booked on the same day, a 4-hour cancellation notice is required. No-shows, or less than a 24 hour cancellation will be subject to a 50% pre-scheduled service charge. Failure to follow the salon’s cancellation policies will result in a forfeiture of deposit.
Your satisfaction and experience are very important to us. All products have a 7-day exchange policy if you are not completely satisfied (excluding Clarisonic). If the product is opened, and less than 3/4 full, then NO exchange will be made.
Lindsay DOES NOT offer refunds on services. If a client has a concern with their past service, please contact Lindsay to discuss the correct course of action for your skin. Lindsay welcomes clients to contact her directly with any lingering skin concerns after a treatment.
If you are running late for an appointment, we will make every effort to accommodate your full appointment time. Service time may be abbreviated to avoid delays for other guests, and treatments will still be charged at full rate.
Child Policy and Age Restrictions:
It is beneficial for young children to start practicing a good skin care routine at an early "comprehensive" age. We welcome children age 10 or older to receive skin care services. Due to the limited space in our Skin Care treatment room, children are NOT allowed in the room unless receiving a service themselves. Parents ARE allowed in the room during these treatments. Children under age 10 MUST be accompanied by another adult (outside of the treatment room) if not receiving services. Unfortunately we DO NOT have enough space in the treatment room to accomidate strollers and/or baby carriers. Please make babysitting, or supervised accommodations for your child prior to your scheduled appointment. We CANNOT insure a child-safe environment in the treatment room. No person under the age of 18 can get semi-permanent Eyebrow Microblading performed.
No Cell Phones:
With tranquility as our main concern, we ask that you please observe our NO cell phone policy. We request that you turn off all cell phones, and tablets before entering the spa area. All emergency calls can be directed through our front desk. Please understand that this is for the comfort of all of our guests.
Prices Subject to Change:
We are constantly expanding our service repertoire to bring you the latest and greatest skin care treatment possible. Although we make every effort to keep our website and spa menu updated, please note that prices and services are subject to change at any time.
Starlet Hair Lounge and Skin Care is not responsible for any damage to clothing left on during your skin care treatment, so please dress according to your choice of service. Lindsay offers a clean robe to be worn during your service. Starlet is not responsible for any lost or stolen items left in the room after your service. Please call Lindsay as soon as possible with any concern.
