Salon Policy

Booking Appointments:

Please book your appointment as early as possible to ensure your preferred appointment time. You may book appointments in person, online, or by calling the salon at (562) 920-8969.


Payment and Gratuity:

Personal checks, cash, and credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Debit Card) are accepted. We DO NOT accept SpaFinder. A fee of $35.00 will be charged for all returned checks. Hair services do not include gratuity, but it is greatly appreciated by your stylist. All prices may vary by stylist, and are subject to change at the discretion of management and/or stylist performing the service.


Gift Certificates: 

Gift Certificates are available for treatment services only. They are not valid for product purchases. Gift certificates MUST be present at the time of the service to be redeemed. Gift certificates are not redeemable if lost or stolen.


Child Policy and Age Restrictions:

Children are always welcome to receive a service in the salon. We love children, and some of your stylists have them too, but due to insurance issues and for the safety of your child, we highly recommend leaving any small children at home. Please note, all children ages 12 and under MUST be accompanied by another adult if not receiving services. Unfortunately we DO NOT have the room on the salon floor for strollers and/or baby carriers. Please make babysitting or supervised accommodations for your child prior to your scheduled appointment. We CANNOT insure a child safe environment in the salon. Due to the minimal space in our Skin Care treatment room, children are NOT allowed in the room unless receiving a service themselves. 


Canceling appointments:

Appointment cancellations are to be made 24 hours prior  to the scheduled time. For appointments booked on the same day, a 4 hour cancellation notice is required.  No-shows, or less than a 24 hour cancellation will be  subject to a $25 No Show fee. To scheduled you next service after “No Show” a deposit must be made.  Please note a 3 day cancellation notice is required for all Hair Extensions and Ombre' styles. Failure to follow the  salon’s cancellation policies will result in a forfeiture of deposit. 



Your satisfaction and experience are very important to us. All products have a 7 day exchange policy as long as the product is unopened. (excluding brushes). If the product is used then no exchange or return will be made. 

Starlet Hair Lounge and Skin Care does not offer refunds on services. If a client is dissatisfied with his/her service, we offer a correction at no charge to the client if scheduled within 7 days of the original appointment.

We are not responsible for damage to clothing left on under your styling/color gown, so please dress accordingly. We are also not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Note: We reserve the right to refuse service at any time, to anyone, for any reason.
